Wild idea, right?
Imagine that you just pulled up your iPhone, wrote "success" into the Google maps, and got given a clear path that you simply had to follow in order to reach your destination? ADDITIONALLY: what if it was the most beautiful route ever, your absolute favorite in the world? What if I told you that you already possessed this magical GPS.... watch this Periscope, or read the text!
The Achilles Heel of most teachers is this nagging fear of "who am I to teach?". "Do I have anything valuable to contribute?", "what makes me special?".
Every single one of us has unique gifts that are powerful and marketable.
"If I don't do it now, it won't get done."I have a tendency to work like a firecracker when I need to work like a laser. I overwhelm myself with the to do list and start frantically working on multiple projects at a time.
What makes my coaching practice stand out from other business and success coaches is the fact that it is equally focused on creating an deep, generous, and unshakable connection to self as it is developing high-level business and marketing strategies unique to your business. (All my girls say "amen" if you hear me.)
Who do you want to be?
I spent a long time stuck in the service industry. I have no regrets about that, I definitely learned a lot, put myself through school, had some
I wasn't ready to invest in my business. I thought I was, but I wasn't actively investing. Not my time, not my energy, and certainly not my money. In order for your project to be able to succeed, it's going to take some serious dedication.
How do you value? What is valuable to you and how do you treat it differently than things you DGAF about? Do you take better care of clothes that you really invested in? Do you mind your movement after you get a great manicure? If your house caught fire right now what would you grab and why does it matter to you? Do you treat the people in your life that mean the world to you as straight up VIP's? Do you discount yourself, take less than you deserve in business or relationships? Do you honor your work hours? Do you honor your play hours? Do you prioritize your self care? Where did you learn how to value? From your parents? From working your ass off for everything you have? From knowing what it's like to lose things you wanted because you didn't value them? Your values are important, in case you didn't know. How you value your values matter. It teaches you how to value yourself so you can be valued. As a woman, as a lover, and as a boss queen. So I'll ask you again. How do you value? My clients pay me the big bucks because this is just one of the little-but-big things they learn with me. If you're interested, I'm not going to link you to my site or tell you where to sign up. You'll find me, and I'm ready when you are
My coach always asks me this question and I absolutely LOVE it. She asks: "What would bring you the most joy?" .
The first time she asked me this, I thought it was completely unrelated to my business and it truthfully annoyed me quite a bit. The concept that work and joy could go hand in hand was completely foreign to me. Hard work = money, right? WRONG!
Don't even try to get a discount off of one of my Boss Queens...They know that their value doesn't change just because someone else has decided they are "affordable" or not. It doesn't matter if they're the low mami on the totem pole, or unpublished, or in their first year of business, or if every single person they know is doing unpaid internships - they are totally secure in their value as Entrepreneurs, and the prices they command for their services reflect that.
