Are you not a breakfast person or just not a "breakfast food" person? Breakfast = whatever you BREAK your FAST with. You are fasting (for a full 12 hours ideally) when you sleep. Having a light breakfast means you can be more reasonable at lunchtime because you're not red zone, crazy eyes hungry. It also means you can attempt not snacking between meals. It might also mean that you have lunch a little later so you don't need such a massive dinner. It sets you up for correct choices all day long, aligns you with a more wholesome lifestyle, more energy, less cravings, and will help you balance your weight if it's what you're after. Who made the rules? Are eggs a breakfast rule? I personally feel like a bowl full of plants or some fruit will get me a lot further in my day than a 32oz coffee and a humongous plate of "breakfast" that just makes me want to go back to sleep. It's your body, you make the rules about what goes in it. Now eat your fucking breakfast, please. #goodfoodforbadpeople #rebelremediesmademedoit #cleaneats #eatgreen #eatplants #cleancuisine #fitfood #fitchef #whatveganseat #igfitfam #kalekalekale #whatyogiseat #healthyfood #glutenfree #dairyfree #grainfree
I've been cooking since I was seven. Institute of Culinary Education grad and NYC trained chef. Food dork. Health nut. Bounty Hunter of beige foods. I don't think there needs to be a separation between food that's good and food that's good for you.
