I'm known for my salads! And here is my favorite way to dress them perfectly. 🌱smear a tablespoon of mustard around the bottom of the bowl. It's such a nice flavor for the dressing but no one wants to hit a big patch of it so this ensures it goes on evenly without having to work the salad to death to combine🌱add your veg (arugula, radish, grated carrot, dill, parsley, cucumber and onion in this batch, lemon zest is optional) 🌱juice of half a lemon 🌱small drizzle of balsamic (you can always add more liquids but you can't take them back, so start small) 🌱salt +pep🌱 olive oil🌱with CLEAN hands work the dressing into the salad being mindful not to bruise the veg. Keep your hands relaxed, like you're casually tossing a million dollar bills into the air 💸 vs. angrily folding laundry 🌱adjust your seasoning and enjoy! #eatyourgreens #welldressed #bestsaladever #food101 #rawvegan #howto #goodfoodforbadpeople
I've been cooking since I was seven. Institute of Culinary Education grad and NYC trained chef. Food dork. Health nut. Bounty Hunter of beige foods. I don't think there needs to be a separation between food that's good and food that's good for you.
